All Women Veterans are Invited to Join Us
1. When: November 11, 2008 (Tuesday)
We muster (assemble) between 8:30-8:45am(Try to come early)
Parade Starts at 9:00am
2. Where: Meet us at the Congress Avenue Bridge. On the corner of Ceasar
Chavez and Congress Ave.
3. Who: Any Women Veteran who served or anyone wishing to walk in
honor of a Women Veteran or an Active Duty Daughter, Mother, Sister or Friend.
3. Transportation:
We walk the One (1) mile route if capable if NOT please contact us so that we may make arrangements for you to ride in
a vehicle or on a trailor.
2. Uniform of the Day (2 Options for this day)
a. If you can still fit into your Military Uniform then you are welcome to wear it.
b. Most women wear Black slacks or Black Jeans and the current PT Uniform T-shirt.
For those of you who do not know the PT uniform is the Gray T-shirt
that says, Army,Airforce, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard. It may be cool that morning
so many women wear a black Turtle neck under the Gray T-shirt.
If you do NOT have the Gray PT T-Shirt
they can be purchased for $9.99 at Banana Bay.
